1940 Migratory Laborer Cleans Hat Agua Fria Labor Camp

In May 1940, a migratory laborer cleans his hat at the Agua Fria Migratory Labor Camp in Arizona. This camp served as a temporary home for seasonal workers who traveled to find employment in agriculture. The Farm Security Administration established such camps during the Great Depression to provide support for displaced families.
