1942 Vintage Mobile Camp for Migrant Families in Oregon

A mobile camp for migrant families exists in Nyssa, Oregon, in July 1942. Managed by the Farm Security Administration, it shows Japanese-American families living in tents without standard electricity. In response to their request, local sugar beet companies arranged wiring using repurposed Christmas tree light wiring in Malheur County.
