This vintage image captures butter extraction from churns at the Dairymens Cooperative Creamery in Caldwell Idaho. Taken in June 1941 the churns were among the most modern in the United States. The creamery distributed its butter through the Challenge Butter and Cream Association primarily to California showcasing dairy production advancements.
