This vintage photograph shows a construction site sign for a U.S. Housing Authority project in Corpus Christi Texas. In December 1940 the project provided housing for 249 married enlisted men and civilian employees at the naval air training base. The image is part of the FSA/OWI Collection and represents military housing history during World War II.
