About Dodge Center, Minnesota
From Warren Upham's 1920 Minnesota Geographic Names: "Dodge Center, the railway village in the south edge of Wasioja, founded in 1866, was platted in July, 1869, and was incorporated February 29, 1872. This name was proposed by D. C. Fairbank, on account of the location at the center of the county."
