In November 1941, two large posters titled Four Freedoms and Arsenal of Democracy were prominently displayed in Defense Square, Washington, D.C. Designed by Jean Carlu for the Office of Emergency Management, these panels were part of a national tour following their debut in New York. The posters communicated key wartime messages during World War II, reflecting civic engagement and national solidarity.
