About Granville, Iowa
In Iowa's Sioux County, Granville counted 310 residents in the 2020 census. The community was platted in 1882 and named for Richard Grenville, described by sources as an English explorer and British navigator. Its recorded history also includes a post office operating since 1884 and state baseball championships won by Spalding Catholic High School.
