Japanese-American Family Evacuated to Oregon 1942

This vintage image depicts a Japanese-American family evacuated from the West Coast during World War II. In July 1942, they relocated to a reception center in Nyssa, Oregon. They volunteered for farm work and moved to a Farm Security Administration mobile camp, later working for a local farmer under U.S. Employment Service approval.
