About Long Prairie, Minnesota
Long Prairie is a Todd County city shaped by the Long Prairie River and neighboring Lake Charlotte. Its history includes Dakota and Ojibwe homelands, the nineteenth-century Long Prairie Reservation for the Ho-Chunk, and a town plat established in 1867. The 2020 census recorded 3,661 residents.
