In November 1938, ten families establish their homes at the Mineral King Cooperative Farm in Tulare County, California. This 500-acre ranch supports agriculture by raising cotton, alfalfa, and dairy products. The Farm Security Administration initiated this project to assist struggling families during the Great Depression, providing them with sustainable livelihoods.
