In 1939, FSA photographer Marion Post Wolcott captured a tenant farmer, Mr. Crowell, with his new hay rake and mules near Isola in the Mississippi Delta. The FSA helped farmers acquire equipment to improve their productivity and livelihoods during the Great Depression.
