From the 1930s into the 1940s, American travelers collected "linen" postcards by the millions, prized for their textured paper stock and bright, saturated colors. This card was issued by Tichnor Bros. Inc. of Boston, one of the era's most prolific publishers, whose surviving images are preserved today in the Tichnor Brothers Collection. This edition has been carefully restored and color-revived by KNOWOL.
