About Rutledge, Missouri
Rutledge is a small community in Scotland County, Missouri, with 86 residents recorded in the 2020 census. Its post office has operated since 1888, and the community was named for a land agent known as Mr. Rutledge. Rutledge School stands on Second Street, while Amtrak's Southwest Chief passes through town without stopping.
