About Springview, Nebraska
From the University of Nebraska: "This town, the county seat of Keya Paha county, was so named because a spring used to flow not far from the town square. There is a tradition that one of the early settlers, John F. Carr, in order to procure the location of the town, hauled water and kept this spring running until after the town was located."
