- A bluff near the Old AgencySwift Bird stands on a bluff roughly 2 miles from the Old Agency. Within the tribe it belongs to District 6, whose name pairs Agency with Swift Bird.
- Near the Missouri RiverThe community sits 4 miles northwest of the spot where U.S. Route 212 crosses Lake Oahe on the Missouri River. Gettysburg is 23 miles to the east, and Eagle Butte is 48 miles to the west.
