In this photo from February 1943, a woman worker at the Vultee-Nashville plant uses a hand drill to work on a Vultee A-31 Vengeance dive bomber. The Vengeance was a single-engine attack aircraft that saw service with Allied air forces in multiple theaters of World War II. Vultee produced 1,931 Vengeances between 1941 and 1944.
