In February 1943, a woman at Vultee-Nashville operated a rivet gun on a Vengeance dive bomber. The Vultee A-31 Vengeance was primarily used by the RAF and RAAF in the South Pacific and Southeast Asia. Vultee produced 1,931 Vengeances before production ended in 1944.
