TN - Woman Paints Insignia on A-31 Vengeance Dive Bomber, WWII 1943

In February 1943, a woman worker at Vultee-Nashville painted the U.S. Army Air Forces insignia on a Vengeance dive bomber fuselage. The A-31 Vengeance was used for attack missions in the Pacific and European theaters during WWII, with over 1,500 produced.
