TN - Women Inspect Tubing for Vultee A-31 Vengeance Bomber, WWII 1943

In February 1943, two women workers at Vultee-Nashville capped and inspected tubing for the Vengeance dive bomber. Originally designed for the French, the A-31 was later used by the RAF and USAAF. It had a crew of two and was armed with six machine guns of varying calibers.
