From roughly the 1930s through the 1940s, "linen" postcards reached their golden age, their textured paper stock and saturated colors capturing Main Streets, motels, and landmarks across the country. This edition comes from the work of Tichnor Bros. Inc. of Boston, whose archive lives on in the celebrated Tichnor Brothers Collection. We at KNOWOL have carefully restored and color-revived this card to bring back its original warmth and detail.
