About Ash Grove, Missouri
Ash Grove is a city in Greene County, Missouri, with 1,512 residents recorded in the 2020 census. Laid out in 1853, it took its name from ash trees near the original town site. Its history also includes a post office operating since 1849 and associations with Nathan Boone, a soldier and son of Daniel Boone.
