About Warren, Minnesota
From Warren Upham's 1920 Minnesota Geographic Names: "Warren, the county seat, platted in 1879-80, incorporated as a village in 1883, and as a city April 3, 1891, was named in honor of Charles H. Warren, general passenger agent of the St. Paul, Minneapolis and Manitoba railway company, which in 1890 was renamed the Great Northern company."
