About Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania
From the History of York County: "Windsor remained within the boundaries of Hellam until 1753, when York Township, embracing a large area and extending to the Susquehanna River, was organized into a new township out of Hellam. Five years after this, or in 1758, Windsor Township, which then included the present area of Lower Windsor, was formed out of York Township."
