About Winter Park, Colorado
From the Historical Marker Database: "David Moffat's dream to build a tunnel through the Rocky Mountains at Idlewild, now Winter Park, was fulfilled in 1928. Since then, the Moffat Tunnel has permitted transport of natural resources such as coal and lumber, along with a multitude of passengers from the East to the West, and back."
