About Fairview, Texas
Fairview is a Collin County town near McKinney, Plano, Allen, and Lucas. Incorporated after a 1958 election, it grew as nearby Plano developed into a North Texas business center during the late 1960s. Its population increased from 175 in 1960 to 10,372 in the 2020 census.
