About Plainfield, Ohio
Plainfield is a village in Coshocton County beside Wills Creek. Laid out in 1816 and incorporated in 1878, it recorded 141 residents in the 2020 census. Its history is preserved in Plainfield Cemetery and in accounts of physician George W. Crile's early career.
