About Rocky River, Ohio
Rocky River is a western Cuyahoga County city on Lake Erie's shore, about nine miles west of downtown Cleveland. The 2020 census recorded 21,755 residents, while the namesake river traces most of the city's eastern edge.

- Storm at Bradstreet's LandingOn October 18, 1764, John Bradstreet's storm-damaged expedition came ashore at the site now known as Bradstreet's Landing Park.
- Cowan Pottery EraCowan Pottery operated its design studio, factory, and showroom here from 1920 through 1931, building a national audience for its ceramics.
