About Keystone, Nebraska
Keystone's Little Church was built in 1908 from plans by architect Thomas R. Kimball. The town was too small to support two churches, so neighbors held bake sales to pay for one. It has a Catholic altar at one end and a Protestant lectern at the other. Hinged pews let worshippers face either way.
- The first house in KeystoneMr. Fenwick came to Keith County in 1883 and lived first in a sod house. In 1906 he moved to Keystone and built the first house in the village.
