About Reynoldsburg, Ohio
Reynoldsburg is an Ohio city spanning Fairfield, Franklin, and Licking counties within the Columbus metropolitan area. James and Margaret Crawford first settled the community in 1802, and its later name honored local merchant James C. Reynolds. The 2020 census recorded 41,076 residents.
- From FrenchtownPlatted as Frenchtown in 1831 for surveyor John French, the community later took a name honoring James C. Reynolds.
- Tomato TraditionReynoldsburg claims the first commercial tomato variety was bred there in the 19th century and has held a yearly Tomato Festival since 1965.
- Blacklick WoodsOpened in 1948 as Franklin County's first Metro Park, Blacklick Woods covers 643 acres and includes trails, a nature center, and a state nature preserve.
