About Rocksprings, Texas
Rocksprings is the seat of Edwards County, situated on Hackberry Creek where U.S. Highway 377 meets State Highway 55. J. R. Long associated with wool and mohair, the town recorded 874 residents in the 2020 census.

- Courthouse FireRocksprings was originally written as two words, with the present form adopted after the first courthouse burned in 1897.
- Devastating 1927 TornadoThe 1927 tornado destroyed 235 of the town's 247 buildings, killed 74 residents, and injured 205.
- Mohair HeritageThe Angora Goat Breeders Association Museum stands here, and a May festival honors local wool and mohair production.
