About Tipp City, Ohio

Tipp City began in 1840 as Tippecanoe City, laid out by John Clark beside the developing Miami and Erie Canal. Canal traffic shaped its early years, while railroads later slowed that first period of growth. The Miami County city recorded 10,274 residents in the 2020 census.
