Hopkins is a Minnesota city in Hennepin County, where the 2020 census recorded 19,079 residents. The first non-indigenous settlers in the Hopkins area arrived in 1852 as land around the growing MinneapolisSaint Paul area was opening up and being explored by members stationed at Fort Snelling.
