About Orland Hills, Illinois

Orland Hills is a village of 6,893 people in Cook County, set between Orland Park and Tinley Park. The area went by the name Westhaven until it incorporated on June 30, 1961, which makes it the youngest village in southwest Cook County. Few official records describe Westhaven before that date, so most of what is known about the village comes from the years after its incorporation.
