About Boulder Hill, Illinois
Boulder Hill is a census-designated community in Oswego Township, Kendall County, along the Fox River and south of Aurora. The 2020 census recorded 8,394 residents. The community is unincorporated, and Kendall County or Oswego Township provide many of its public services.
- Begun in 1956Dise began work on the first unit of the Boulder Hill development in spring 1956.
- Compact FootprintThe 2021 census gazetteer lists 1.47 square miles in total, including 1.46 square miles of land.
- Schools and DistrictBoulder Hill is in Oswego Community Unit School District 308 and has two elementary schools and one middle school.
- Montgomery Postal ServiceMail service comes through the Montgomery Post Office, although Boulder Hill is unincorporated and outside the village of Montgomery.
