About Superior, Colorado
From the Town of Superior: "Superior was founded in 1896 and incorporated June 4, 1904. Mining remained a significant force until the Industrial Mine closed in 1945. After the mine closed, many people moved out of the area, and Superior evolved into a quiet ranching and farming community."
